Played mostly electric guitars and played for many 80's rock bands and his style was infuenced by Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and Alice Cooper he also created a seven string Ibanez.that didnt become popular until bonds like Korn and Limp Bizkit in the 90's.Throughout his career, Vai's creative impulses have been inspired by a deeply-held spiritual commitment to improving the world through his music and actions.

I really liked in the first song how he went from complete loud distortion to an immediate quiet clear melody. It's also really cool to watch him do all of those hammer ons.
