He is from Montreal Quebec
He is a Canadian fingerstyle guitarist
Don Ross plays with an acoustic guitar
Don is unique for many reasons:His sharp acrylic nails give him a very sharp but very definite tone
His style is uncommon; heavywood style
He taps the guitar to produce sound
He is great because: He is the only person to win the U.S. Fingerstyle Guitar championship twice
He has a different style. He has a very good technique, he taps the guitar as he plays
He composed for many Toronto theatre productions

  6. I love this guy, even thought he looks kinda goofy his use of hammerons, pulloffs and harmonics really adds a unique style to his music.

  8. Don Ross's Fingerpicking is very strong and has a deep sound that carries very well, he uses a mix between finger picking and using a thumb pic very well. I also really liked the overall sound created by the fingerpicking and hammer-ons, its very well done.

  9. He is an amazing guitarist. It is just incredable that he can play notes that fast and accurate. His quick paced pull-offs and hammer-ons are very well done. His alternations between tempo, melody, and fingerpicking really destinguish him as a player.

  10. I really like Don Ross's acoustic style. The hammer ons and pull offs make the sound sound really great. He also has a lot of musical diversity that makes you want to continue listening. With the change of tempo, speeding up and slowing down, and the dynamic changes, it is really entertaining. Good Job.
